What is included in the price?

All deceased will be dressed, providing there is clothing or gowns available.

Full 2 page embalming report if required.

Cosmetics, nails, hair and shaving will be attended to providing there are clear instructions.

Pacemakers & defibrillators are removed at no extra charge. Please note that proof of defibrillator deactivation is required.

Assistance with coffining the deceased.

Final touches once the deceased is coffined, including make-up / hair touch-ups and frill setting if required.

An invoice will be sent and payment must be made within 7 days. Cash is also accepted but must be given on the day.

High risk status must be declared immediately, with relevant paperwork provided.

CJD cases will not be embalmed. Bloodborne and airborne infections will be assessed on a case to case basis.

All deceased will be prepared or embalmed to the highest standard providing the following basic facilities are available:

Preparation / embalming area or mortuary

Basic kit (pump, tank, aspiration jar etc.)

Running warm water
-
Plug sockets
